During the trauma of the COVID pandemic, all of the days seems to blur together. My buddy Joey Garfield had the idea of Blursday—so I printed the days of the week, starting with Sunday, on top of each other to create this print that matched our mood.

In celebration of Juneteenth 2020 and to raise money for the 2021 Juneteenth parade in Evanston, IL, this poster was printed in 2 colors with the help of my daughter in our first collaboration.

I’m finding that the longer we’re isolated, the more I’m seeking to make a connection with people. Maybe we can start by expanding our definition of what it means to be a neighbor. One way to do this is to think differently about the people we pass by every single day.

I printed 250 copies of this poster and passed them out to the neighbors near my home and studio.
